Print the SHA256 fingerprint of an artifact.

Synopsis #

Print the SHA256 fingerprint of an artifact. Requires artifact type flag to be set. Artifact type can be one of: "file" for files, "dir" for directories, "docker" for docker images.

merkely fingerprint [ARTIFACT-NAME-OR-PATH] [flags]

Flags #

-t, --artifact-type stringThe type of the artifact to calculate its SHA256 fingerprint. One of: [docker, file, dir]. Only required if you don't specify 'sha256'
-h, --helphelp for fingerprint
--registry-password stringThe docker registry password or access token.
--registry-provider stringThe docker registry provider or url.
--registry-username stringThe docker registry username.

Options inherited from parent commands #

-a, --api-token stringThe merkely API token.
-c, --config-file string[optional] The merkely config file path. (default "merkely")
-D, --dry-runWhether to run in dry-run mode. When enabled, data is not sent to Merkely and the CLI exits with 0 exit code regardless of errors.
-H, --host stringThe merkely endpoint. (default "")
-r, --max-api-retries intHow many times should API calls be retried when the API host is not reachable. (default 3)
-o, --owner stringThe merkely user or organization.
-v, --verbosePrint verbose logs to stdout.
